Privacy

The game keeps its save data on your device. This page explains optional reminders, support email and separate PegasusCo website analytics.

Game and website data

Game saves and settings

The Hatchery stores save slots and settings in files on your device. The game does not provide accounts, server-side saves or cross-device synchronisation. Removing the app or changing devices may make local saves unavailable; any device-backup restore depends on your platform. PegasusCo does not receive game progress through the game.

Optional notifications

If you enable notifications and allow the operating system to deliver them, The Hatchery can schedule local reminders for a completed hatch or a daily farm-run reset. The operating system delivers these reminders on your device. You can turn them off in the game or device settings. They are not sent to PegasusCo.

Support emails

If you email support or feedback, PegasusCo receives the email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to reply and understand the issue. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details, save files or other sensitive information unless support has requested it and you decide to provide it.

PegasusCo website analytics

The PegasusCo website uses Vercel Analytics separately from The Hatchery. Vercel describes its analytics as aggregated and not tied to a person or IP address, and says it does not use third-party tracking cookies. Website metrics may include the visited page, referrer, approximate location, device type, operating system, browser and event time. Analytics are not connected to game saves or progress.

Testing providers and changes

When a public testing link is available, the platform distributing the test build may process information under its own privacy terms. This notice may change as the game or testing setup changes.
