The Hatchery · Public testing — links coming soon

How to Play & Help

The current game has several farms, timed systems and save rules. This guide follows the version available for public testing.

Playing guide

Start a run

Choose a save slot, then travel to an unlocked destination. Farm runs are timed. Thornfield and Blackfern use the regular farm loop; Ancient Sanctuary also has a separate 120-second Guardian Trial.

Collect eggs and manage hatches

Tap an egg in the farm to collect it. At the Hatchery, use an available nest to begin a timed hatch or sell eligible eggs in a Market. Hatches can fail, and a failed egg is consumed. Hatch timers can finish while the app is closed.

Fight and protect your pets

Tap enemies to damage them. Snakes appear in standard farms; beetles appear in Ancient Sanctuary. Pets can be hurt or lost. In normal runs, the exact pets that die are removed when the result saves; collected eggs are lost if you forfeit a run.

Pause, speed and backgrounding

Use farm controls to pause or select a supported speed. Pausing or leaving the app stops farm simulation, egg spawning and combat. Farm activity does not catch up while the app is closed.

Progress and saves

Quests, unlocked places, collection, coins and settings are saved locally on your device. There is no account or cloud-save service, and progress does not sync between iOS and Android. Keep the app open if it asks you to retry saving a run result.

Notifications

The game can schedule optional on-device reminders for hatch completion and a daily farm-run reset. Change notification settings in the game or in your device settings.

Current testing build

Beginner, Regular and Real difficulty choices are not available yet. Castle is a destination and purchase hub, but it does not have its own farm run. Public testing links will appear on the game page when ready.
